The LumeDEL Model FP63P is a plastic optical fiber (POF) patch cord featuring a very high numerical aperture (NA = 0.63) which provides the best optical coupling efficiency with LEDs to deliver maximum output power. POF patch cords are more flexible and affordable versus silica, but the useful spectral range is limited to 350-850 nm.
